As an avid cold water athlete, having an allergy to neoprene can be pretty debilitating. As most, if not all wetsuits are made from the synthetic material, I have not been able to enjoy the luxury of extended cold water exposure. Like many others, if I were to wear a normal wetsuit for more than a few minutes, my skin would erupt into hives, if not worse.
